Doug Pagitt thinks he's a good person

Pagitt was asked by an audience questioner is he thought he was a bad person who had broken God's law and was deserving of death. Pagitt's answer? "No."

Which, if logic means anything, and of course to a postmodern reader I'm being terribly 'modernistic' by using logic (which is the unforgivable sin according to the religion of postmodernism), nevertheless, Pagiit implies he is a good person.

This contradicts Scripture, which of course will be denied, as 'of course' I'm reading Scripture through Augustinian eyes blah blah blah. Still, have a go at reading this and tell me I'm wrong (well not 'wrong', no-one's 'wrong' - we've just got our own perspectives blah blah blah)

10 as it is written:

“None is righteous, no, not one;
11 no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.” Romans 3.10-12
